As goofy as it sounds, the ALC can be affected by the SWR of the antenna. Try using a dummy load and see if the ALC blinks with voice peaks. It's not at all uncommon for a ten tec rig to go into over

I checked the inside of the Eagle and I have what looks like an FM board (looks different from the other filters made up of several components. It says FM on that board . then I have a 300 kz filter
