- Mark, Just add 100 ohm resistors in series with the headphones. You can do this inside the headphone jack on the headphones. With 8 ohm headphones, you end up being too efficient. Carl Moreschi N4PY

- Mark, The CW weight adjustment is to make up for slow keying characteristics of a particular transceiver. What you are striving for is the end result coming out of the transceiver is a perfect 3 to 1
