It was easier than I thought. I had thought that the 2024 on the PF board was for the tuner. Well, that is the CPU backup. Its easy to se once you get the top off. Gary

Not likely anything in the PTO would cause the S meter to fail to work. The S meter plugs into the IF/AF board via connector 17. It is possible you pulled this loose when you were working on the PTO.
