Can anyone give me details of this mod please, the Inrad site says it improves the RX SSB audio. Does it do anything for the TX SSB signal? I'm getting reports of muffled TX audio. Thanks / 73 Fraser

Hi, a small batch of 9MHz filters were made for operators who prefer to listen at a lower pitch. Our club has one for sale that is surplus to requirements. It's a plug in replacement for either the N

Our clubs Omni6+ is just the same, sounds ok on LSB but restricted and toppy on USB. The carrier oscillators have been set as per the manual. I suspect the filter is the problem. Is this how the rigs

Our club has an Omni6+, a fairly old model with option 3. I've nulled the carrier on it several times but it soon drifts out of null again. The suppression on LSB I think I recall correctly is partic

There is an adjustment for netting on CW, I remember when we bought our club's Omni6+ is was miles off. If you can't find I'll dig the manual out and have a look. 73 Fraser G4BJM ____________________

I just checked the manual. You need to adjust trimmer C16, which is on the corner of the TX Audio Board. That alters the CW TX freq in relation to the RX freq. (Ours was so far off I had to pad it wi

I sent this info earlier but it seems to have disappeared. To fix the TX/RX netting/tracking on CW you need to adjust trimmer C16, on the corner of the TX Audio Board. This alters the CW TX freq. w.r

Our club's Omni6+ option3 sounds very different on USB and LSB, and it's not possible to correct it by adjusting the BFO frequencies, so it must be down to the filter being asymetrical. I understood
