I've used the Timewave DSP-59+ with my Omni VI+ but not with my Orion because of losing the ability to hear the main receiver in both ears and the sub receiver in one ear. Will the 599zx allow this?

John, they are not DSP buttons but rather insert a filter in the 9mhz IF same as Omni VI. The Plus gives you a choice of two narrow filters rather than one. DSP functions are controlled by NR and LP

I agree Bernard. The only problems Ive really had have been with 1.372. It fixed issues in 1.371 which werent problems for me and introduced a few rough spots which did bother me. I went back to 1.37
