- Hi Bob and the group. Well, I've found out what the problem is. The Molex PSU connector and the fuseholder were causing around 600mV drop @ 20 amps. I have now connected the radio directly to the PSU

- Hi Don. Thanks for the info. According to the schematic in the TT manual, the BFO is fed from the REG+ 8.5v line. None of the other xtal oscillators appear to influence the TX frequency at all, excep

- Thanks for the info Don. Yes, I've double checked, and none of the oscillators I can find on the schematic are powered directly by the incoming +Vcc, all are powered from REG+ 8.5v or 5v in the PLL c

- Hello Ron. Thanks for the tip, which is why I've copied this to the list as well. I'll be checking the co-ax connectors carefully, although mechanical shock doesn't make the TX frequency jump at all.

- Hi Carl. Thanks for the input. The 8.5v reg is working fine, according to my meter there is no change in this supply when varying the RF output, even with a meter that can resolve to 1mV when the 20v
