i am not sure about the O II, but i set the O to the following for CW: XTAL filter 1 KHz, cuts the noise greatly BW 1500 or less for same reason RF gain at about 80 AF gain at whatever sounds good to

John, you can use either lcw or ucw. it depends to me on which way you like to tune in a signal--from the lower to upper tone or vice versa. i like to tune UP so i use lcw on all bands and tune from
