I'm not sure what "profile" is.  I didn't see anything in my program to switch profiles. How is it done? Do you have to have the bigger memory chip to have these profiles?

Does anyone know if and when Ten-Tec is planning an upgrade of the Jupiter firmware? Will the firmware upgrade give our old Jupiters the same features as the new ones, such as code copy on the screen

I was wondering the same thing. I bought my Jupiter at the Ten-Tec hamfest in 2001 so it probably has the smaller chip.

I've used several mics with my 509, including the Ten-Tec banana style mic that was sold with it. I get the best results with a Shure 444 high impedence. It gives more punch than the Ten-Tec mic. A D
