I have a Omni V and Paragon II. I'd call the choice a very tough question. Theoretically/on paper the Omni is the better rig. However, I had to do a lot of work on my Omni V, specifically a recap of

This is correct...the PBT does NOT function with the 6.0 filter. Man, that 6.0 filter provides some easy listening SSB when conditions permit. I put in an INRAD 2.1 and that filter sounds great also.
