I have an Omni VI Plus that has developed a problem on transmit. Can anyone on this list help me, please? When I power up the transceiver, in CW mode (I only operate CW), it will generate 80-90 watts

Malcolm, thanks.  Yes, the same symptoms appear when I test into a dummy load. I'll follow Bob's advice and snug up the power connector, and clean and re-seat all the connections internal to the rig.
