Just swapped the 4:1 balun out replacing it with a 1:1 balun. I am now back to using a 2 ft long jumper of RG-213 and the auto-tuner combo seems to work OK. Glad to see the longer section of coax gon

I drank the ON4UN coolaid regarding compressed delta loops and built a batch of 40M loops for field day, 2 tuned to 7.050 MHz and another pair tuned for 7.175 MHz. They were fed with 1/4 wave section

It is hard to debate and discuss typing with one thumb onto a cell phone. At field day we use a tri-plexers to drive a trip band yagis and have found the use of coaxial stubs to be extremely helpful.
