In reality what TenTec should do is take a modular approach where all these extra options can be added. Even make the front panel modular that uses a SPI bus to communicate with the main transceiver

Oh and used STANDARD connectors for all external interfaces, not these crazy mini-din connectors that all the non-US rigs use. Oh and now that I am thinking of it (the new rigs may already have this)

I am finally getting around to working a a paragon I have and I had removed the non-working headphone jack. Well now I forgot how it was hooked it. There are 4 wires that I removed from the original.
