- In order to get FCC accepted the radio had to be made in such a way it won't transmit anywhere. It also had to be made so it wouldn't act as a scanner. This is the reason for the firmware in the Flex

- Gerry I was thinking tuners AND transmitters. If you have 4 transmitters and 4 tuners idependently feeding the 4 elements of an array you have very good control of everything over a large bandwidth.
