My SP is working, I can definitely hear added compression when it is turned on. However, as reported by W4CAK, there is little if any difference between setting 1 or 9. I also noticed a loss of audio

Just installed v2.055. Can't give much of a report yet other than that the speech processor now works well. Increasing the setting actually increases the compression level. I could tell no difference

Jack, I visited the rfsquared website this morning, and it lists the most recent firmware updates as of 3/10, not 4/1. The current versions listed are v2.032 for the Orion II, and v2.056 for the Orio
