- A simpler setup, if you must go to 60M. DONT USE THE VFO AT ALL. Just a crystal osc with the 6.144IF. Don't know which side you must use; that will set the sideband. Since the 60M band is channelized

- same fixes apply to the ONMI V birdies-wise. I've done several "screwtightenings" on mine, and soldered the thru connections. It does help. Also, on the RF input board the thru wires should be solder

- Agree, based upon my experience that the ALC light on the Orion does not mean much in Xverter mode. In fact, I'm not sure that the light means anything anywhere-- There seems to be a lot of variation
