Speaking of BMW and "latest-fad technology", read here about their new idrive system. Most of the interior controls are intregated into one big knob on the console. Some of this review reminds me of
Not dead at all. I just had a nice cw qso with a guy on 10m which is rare! At least the Omni VI works. Did you have a thunderstorm last night per chance??? Steve N4LQ -- Original Message -- From: "do
I have an Bourns optical encoder from a TT 301 knob and need to test it to see if it's good. If I apply 5vdc to the power leads, would I see pulses on a scope connected to one of the outputs while tu
I bought an external QSK-5 and ended up blowing the front end out of my rig. The instruction manual is non rig/amp specific and requires allows for a lot of interpretation and requires some rigging.

Is that $25 for rebuiding a PTO in or out of the radio? I know the rebuilding kit is about $25 but I thought if you send the rig to the factor it was closer to $100 for a rebuild job and less if you
Is there anyone out there that can scan for me the schematic of the IF-AF board for the Corsair (1) and email it to me? Or at least give me the function and description of R2 and R3. Thanks Steve N4L
