Be careful of connecting a receiver to the Aux Ant jack. I looked into doing just that, but checked the output of the Aux Ant jack first. I get 0.041VDC from that jack when the transmitter is at 100

Roy, The specifications say the CW offset is an "750 Hz, automatic". So, when the "spot" button is used does the display show the center frequency for zero beat, then return to the offset frequency?

I also use an Argosy. I don't have a thump on CW, but it does thump on AGC action, actually it pops. So when using headphones its amplified a lot. Argosy's receiver is very good. It's a quiet analog

Carl is correct. Transmitt Disable on the N4PY software does disable the Argonaut V's transmitter. When disabled it does not allow code practice. It is completly disabled. 73, Don, nn8b

Although I have not had much 6 meter activity to test my 6n2 thouroughly, I have heard adjacent cw signals. It seems more prevelant when the noise blanker is being used. I have power line noise here
