Thanks for your comments.....I am using a 706MKIIG and the dsp will not get rid of the noise. It helps. On mobile the dsp seems to work better. Paul Paul, I've had my Argonaut V for more than 2 years

Carter, there are ways of finding out by calling companies that sell used ham equipment. The price they give you might be the "high" price but at least it gives you a ball park figure to work with. P
