That warbling can also be caused by a HFO crystal that is trying to phase lock to the master oscillator. The PLL will sweep the oscillator loop voltage trying to achieve a locked condition. I've had

Most likely a bad relay in the transmitter low pass filter bank.. Unlocked HFO does not cause low power, just a few kHz error and a warbly signal.

As far as receive, the last low pass filter covers from 22 to 30 MHz, so if ten meters works that rules out a relay problem. You can verify relay select voltage for both 10 and 12 meters on the last

Phil Do NOT attempt to realign those passband filters! Normal aging will not give you a 20 dB signal loss. Alignment can mask other problems and can compound finding a resolution for your problem. Re

This question would be easier to answer if we knew what kind of TCXO you have. Ten Tec used a 5-volt TCXO that was designed to drive TTL digital levels. Most modern TCXO devices are now designed for

This works with two Omni VI radios slaved together. Remove the TX OUT and TX EN jumper. That will inhibit the transmitter. Unfortunately the Paragon does not have DSP audio muting, nor a MUTE input.
