Having mine at 40 ft has proved interesting.  Its fully stretched out horizontal (80-10 model).  It seems to work great for DX, but close in stations like a friend in Chicago are a bit of a challenge

That makes the 15KHz filter a sweet option. I bought mine slightly used and it came with the 6 & 15 KHz filters. I was going to swap the 15 for a 600 Hz filter but I don't feel like I need the 600 Hz
