The 1.8 Kc filter has higher output than the 2.4 Kc or 500 Hz filters. That's why I was wondering if the PIN diodes for the 2.4 Kc and 500 Hz positions might be the problem. Would seem odd if that's

If you have a Omni VI+ or a later Omni VI that was upgraded it will have two optional narrow 9 MHz IF filter slots, which are selected by the N1 and N2 buttons. You can use one or the other, or none
