Hi all.Just an update on the low RF output problem I experienced on my OMNI C, I removed the TX mixer board and replaced the 4.7mf tant as I have had bad experience with these components in the past.

Hi Newbie hereI have recently won a Omni C, It was purchase knowing that it had a fault on it, it had suffered damage to the switches ( Vox,Qsk etc) and slight bend in the shaft of band select switch

Hi BarryThanks for that info, will try that, but, for the moment I have another Omni c, which works so I am board swapping at the moment, I have found a problem with the IF board, possibly the 40823

Hi AllJust an update on my Omni C.It turned out to be self inflicted I'm afraidwhilst waiting for the replacement switches to arrive I changed all the tropical fish capacitors for epoxy types.Turned
