A little followup on this issue. I finally got into my Ten Tec yesterday and removed the meter. I put one drop of DeOxit on the pivot point and bent the needle out slightly (although I didn't perceiv

The phones come with a 1/4" -1/8" stereo adapter so I couldn't use that (unless I just wanted to hear in one ear) so I got a 1/8" Stereo to 1/8" stereo to 1/4" adapter and also picked up a Koss volum
Thanks Rick, I'll put that attenuator together and give that a go. Thanks Steve W1SFR Stephen Roberts Marketing Manager Timberwolf Manufacturing marketing@timberwolfcorp.com http://www.timberwolfcorp
Yes...volume was VERY loud. I cheated and bought a Koss headphone volume control. All is well now and it's great to have an additional volume control for those very loud sigs. Steve Stephen Roberts M

Thanks for your input John. You obviously have more experience than me. I was assuming a lot of CQ'ing and QSO's which would be a different story. Sent from my iPad
Hi John, Could you provide more specifics for antenna and L tuner? I'd like to do the same on 40m with my Argosy. I love the idea of using a carpenters chalk line reel. It even has a crank up handle!
Hi folks, I'm a new ham and new to this list (and everything!). I recently picked up an Argosy 525 and find that the meter sticks almost all the time on xmit and occasionally on rcv. Is there a remed
