The phones come with a 1/4" -1/8" stereo adapter so I couldn't use that (unless I just wanted to hear in one ear) so I got a 1/8" Stereo to 1/8" stereo to 1/4" adapter and also picked up a Koss volum

Yep....duh...it was the mike. Never would have suspected that it had a 9V battery in it! But then again, what do I know? ;-) The battery read 7.2V. The mike cord was extremely brittle and needed work

GM, I want to add an additional audio out for my Argosy so I can feed it to an external keyer/reader. I originally ran a wire from the phone jack to one of the spare RCA jacks on the back of the unit

The reader is functional with the existing set up but the added level of noise is interfering with the reader getting a clean audio signal.
