Well it has taken a while but my LP-PAN and Orion 565 are up and running. I have used the following software for rig control: 1) Ham Radio Deluxe, and 2) N4PY (with LP-Bridge) It is really nice unit.

Dan have you tried the receive antenna switch on the rear of the rig? I no longer have my Omni V but I think turning the switch on and off a few times may resolve your problem. 73, Rick VE7TK My OMNI

Here's a big failing of Version 2. You are listening to an S-5 signal. Someone puts an S9+ carrier on the QSO. You push the auto notch. The carrier goes away. The S-meter still says S9+ and pumps acc

In the past they have ALWAYS released major Orion upgrades concurrently! Some minor upgrades pertained only to either the Orion or the Orion II. Heck as an Orion owner why shouldn't the 565 firmware
