I believe the sweep problem was also a Version 1.xxx firmware problem (hence a 565 problem) that went away with Version 2.xxx.  As Barry says, if you are having a problem with the sweep in Version 3.

Karl you should test the output into a dummy load on all bands.  If the symptoms are similar on 12 metres and 10 metres then I'd suspect a relay failure.  I have written up the repair process on my w

Actually Rick if you look at the logbook position the operator is likely left-handed.  That would put the key/paddle in his neat shack, with the cable routed behind the desk, right under your callsig

Are you running a serial output from the Orion to the computer? If you disconnect the serial cable and attempt to duplicate the problem is it still there?? If it disappears I'd think it's an RFI prob
