First I don't have a W2IHY EQ but I had an earlier version from Julius. It sounds like the headphones are plugged into the EQ? If they are, I believe that is the monitor circuit for making adjustment

A friend of mine had a similar problem with his Orion. The problem was that the remote and ACC plugs were in the wrong connectors! He switched the 2 plugs and the rig went back to normal. 73, Rick VE

Well after loading Version 2.063Gx I went back to firmware 1.373b5. After another RAM CLEAR and MASTER RESET guess what. The MON now works as designed? I have no idea what happened BUT I'm happy the
