I think you need to turn up the mic gain and have either the data connection or the mic connection selected in the menu according to where you inject the signal. If i remember correctly, the mic gain

Might i say that the + version of the OMNI VI is a fantastic radio. I admit i did put in the INRAD roofing filter option and did the simple mod for the SSB audio, and now the rig is just ... well ...
