Tom, I used the Pro Set ( with the HC5 and HC4 ) with both a stock Omni VI Plus and a VI Option 3 and never saw the need for a pre amp at all. Way more than enough audio and punch for any application

I would have agreed with Duane until I started using the keyer built into the Original Orion. I HAD been using two K3s for many years, but now if you want a better QRQ keyer, the Orion has it. The in
