If you do not want to slide the center part of the RG8X down the inside of a Yagi driven element, try tie wrapping it on the outside. Attach and tune it like a FD and see what happens. Keep The Faith

I once made a folded dipole for 40M with 16 inch spreaders. It did not work well on 30M or 17M. So I to two pieces of wire ran them in the center of the fold and tuned those wires in free space to 30

The portable AM Radio. Once you located what pole has the problem switch to FM re-walk the lines see if the noise is still there and determine again what pole it is comming from. Maybe switch to 220M
