- The 755 has an average life of 20K hours according to the Sylvania Lamp replacement book. I did an online search and I find this contradicting. I am not sure if Ten Tec added a resistor or not add on

- The 44 is a 6.3 volt 0.25 amp higher current and usually indicates more heat being dissipated. I will stick with the 755. The brightness on the TT amp and Omni meters appear to match that on the 755

- For the Collins 28 volt lamp, the 1873 has 0.20A and the 757 at 0.08amps would give you a longer life Even more if you put the risistor in series. If It was my choice I would put in the 757 in your C
