- An ionosonde, I think, would be a clean signal. I get switching power supplies sweeping across the bands in my neighborhood, but they drift very slowly and usually have a rough AC modulation on them.

- Rod: Inspect the battery to make sure it hasn't leaked. The only other thing that typically goes wrong with Paragons is the PLL Out of Lock condition. This is fixable, but requires a lot of patience
