- Has anyone other than Tom tested the QSK. Tom says his QSK works at 70 WPM! Mine doesn't even have QSK. Tom are you really hearing between your dits at 70WPM? I can only hear at 15. I've reinstalled,

- I have tested mine with ver 1.370 and I believe you're right in that there is a tiny delay after a dit or dah before the receiver comes back on... So, I can't here the receiver between the dits... I

- Yes indeed it helps! With the older versions, QSK was virtually instantaneous. Now it is slightly slower than the fastest VOX setting on my IC-706 therefore it cannot be defined as QSK by any means.

- Nope. I'll have to confess to you and all, I do not sit around and test full QSK between dits!! When I say my Orion QSK works good at 70 wpm, what I really mean is that if my QSO partner breaks me, I

- QSK gone away? Not on my Orion. I can hear another station between dits at what the MFJ 493 keyer says is 60 - and with what the internal keyer says is 60. So I certainly have QSK - at speeds higher

- Well, it is a 'requirement' to run full QSK at the higher speeds, as far as I'm concerned. No one needs to be able to hear between the dits, but you do need to hear between the words. But Ken, if you
