Bill -- I would be surprised if the built-in 1000 Hz filter has only 4 poles. I would have expected it to have 8 poles, like the 2.4 kHz filter. This would be interesting to clarify. -- Eric K3NA sus

I've been misquoted on the 1000 hertz filter. I said it had a shape factor of 3 to 1 but I have not removed it and looked at to see how many poles it had. I believe Bill said it was a 4 pole. I do no
