Not owning an Orion or Orion II, is the internal speech processor on either of them an RF speech processor comparable in function and results to the 715? In other words, would the 715 be redundant wi

no, I have an Orion and purchased the 715 to use with it. You disable the Orions built in processor and use just the 715. I have been extremely happy with the results. It PLAYS. 73, Steve W1DXH Not o

Gentlemen, These comments are interesting. I had a 715 and returned it. My rig is a Jupiter. Consenses was that the Jupiter did as well as could be expected without it. As a result it was returned wi

I don't have an Orion, but it sure is a plus for a Jupiter. I only use it in pileups or during marginal conditions.... the results are outstanding. I hesitate in mentioning a gain figure, because it

Well I'm glad I asked the question...it wasn't for me, but for a friend deciding on an AMP, etc for his O2. He's an SSB operator only (I'm CW only) but I wanted to look into this. Thanks for the feed

Art, I was also skeptical about the 715. Now I have one and it works great with both the Orion II and the Omni VII. I operate both rig remote and use the 715 at the client location over the internet.

I've added the 715 to my Omni VI+ and the RF processing really helps in the pile-ups against the smaller amplifiers with no processing. If one has NO amp, the TT 715 is a very cost effective investme

Works great with my Omni VI+ and Herc II amp. There's no reason that the RF cannot be amplified just because it has a higher 'average' power. After all, amps were used with the internal processor in

Absolutely,....one of the best products they have ever produced. I run mine with an L4B and alternate from a Omni VI+3 to my Drake TR7. Top notch audio with both radios. Why this unit was not used in
