Theyre not that hard to repair. You have three first choices. 1) The rectifier bridge is shorted - R and R 2) The big filter cap is shorted - R and R 3) The supply is putting out too much and the OVP

Thanks Gary, That is the sort of info I was looking for. I will check the rectumfrier to see if it is shorted. BTW, this supply does not have one big cap, but rather three 10,000 uF caps. Robert KG4K
