Joe for SSB one of the best improvements for the Omni V is the installation of InRad 2.8 kHz filters in BOTH I.F.s. These would REPLACE the stock T-T 2.4 kHz filters. I tried the T-T 1.8 kHz filters

Rick - tell more please. With my Omni, I feel the 1.8 filters are a bit too narrow for SSB work. I find the 2.4 to be oddly narrow as well. I definitely get less lows and highs through that filter th

Joe, I am also a "new" Omni V owner, and feel I must agree with Rick. I will put the 2.8 Inrad filters in mine soon for casual SSB work, and probably move the 2.4 TT filters to the narrow slot. 73, D
