- I have a TT 544 that I feel needs a receiver alignment. Can anyone suggest a reputable repair guy that does that sort of thing? I prefer findong someone on the East coast. Thanks, Bob W6TR in Webster

- It seems to lack sensitivity when compared to my other radios, like Flex 5K and a 756Pro3. _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.conte

- On the upper bands or lower? I forget if that radio has a preamp. It may be quiet due to lack of front end gain. If it is "good enough" on 80 and 40, it may be the way the radio is. _________________

- I recommend Clairmont-Skyland Radio and TV, Gainesville, GA. 404-636-5909. He fixed a similar problem with my Delta 580. He works on older Ten Tecs. See reviews on eHam Reviews. Sent from my iPhone _

- With a single conversion design, theres not a lot of hiss to a triton VI. Thats why they sound great, and you can listen for hours without an ear full of noise Many of the newer radio have one or two

- Bob, If you haven't already, you might check the "T/R - REC" slide switch on the back, maybe clean it with deoxit or something similar. I've seen those cause some strange issues in the older Ten Tec
