The short answer is I don't think you can change how N1MM controls the audio. One option however, is for you to program keyboard function key macros so that with a single function key press, you can

Dave, I agree with Barry. My Orion II behaves as you describe when using SO2V. Do not know of any way to change this in N1MM and I suspect it is hard coded into the software. A note to K3CT might get
