Yes, I'm using the homemade ICOM serial interface described in QST several years ago. Works fine. Haven't tried my IC-735 at the same time, so can't tell you if that will work. But the Omni VI+ works

Their is another that was in QST or CQ written up for Kenwood & Icom. I also under stand that the codes for the IC 735 are compatable with Ten-Tec. I have an Omni and am building the interface. It us
