The Triton IV uses a 1/4 inch stereo plug for the mic connector. PTT to the tip, Mic to the ring (or band as Ten-Tec calls it), shield to the sleeve (or barrel as Ten-Tec calls it). -- 73, Rich - W3Z

And if it is a crystal D-104 (maybe they all are) then it does not need to have an amplifier in the base of the microphone. Just straight wire the microphone element to the cable and hook it up as Ri
