Hi campers... got a 580 used last year, it developed some issues, sent off to TenTec service, they called and said it had a number of issues, cost 3-400 dollars to fix, didn't think it would be worth

It should. It should have even the same part number for both applications. I don't know what the VFO might be worth, 500 Hz CW filter may be worth $60 or so. It may fit every Tentec through the Orion

No it cannot. The 2.4 kHz filter in the 580 is @~6.3 MHz. The 21x series filter on the Corsair's NB board is 9 Mhz. Also the 2.4 kHz filter in the 580 is integral to the IF amplifier board. So it is
