The simple answer is just open it up and adjust it. I've tweaked mine a couple of times since I got in in March 2003. It's settled out very well at about 10 Hz low at 7.3Khz after warming up. I'll p

When tuning SSB, I like to use 100 Hz or even 1 kHz steps. If everybody's oscillators were well adjusted, we could use 1 kHz "channels" and make life easier, especially with nets. Apparently lots of

I tried this with my Orion. I seem to be only 7 Hz off(high 15.000.07) at 15.000.00. Is this possible? Orion has beem warming up for about 6 hours. One odd thing I can only tune to 10.0090.00 on 30m.

Thank you all for comments. My readout was 19999.900 when zerobeat to 20 mHz WWV--so 100 hz off. My, it doesn't take much to change the frequency! A hairs breadth got me within 6 hz so that is plenty
