Well I don't have a Jupiter with the internal ATU but I will share this tidbit. Having the tuner at (or really close to) the feed point of the antenna is going to give you the most efficiency regardl

Hello. I'm running a Jupiter and 48ft Vertical. Your SGC and Vertical should work with any rig since the tuner is activated by RF. Why change the system that's working for you. You have a plug n play

A 33 foot vertical is not a particularly good choice of length for use on multiple bands. End fed it will have a very high impedance on 20 meters. If you can make it longer it will be an easier match

David/N5WMQ I agree with the ham that suggest you replace your Argonaut V with the Jupiter leaving the rest of your setup as is. Unless there are other reasons for changing something else in your set

Why not keept the present tuner at the base of the 33 foot vertical, and use the inbuilt Jupiter tuner to fine tune any residual SWR? Stuart K5KVH _______________________________________________ TenT
