I noticed the same problem and diagnosed the AT-11 as the culprit on 80 CW just as mentioned. The AT-11 has been sitting my shelf ever since. Now using TT-253 which is just great.. Dave W7DPW -- FAQ

Likewise, I had a very similiar problem with my Pegasus and the AT-11. The LDG is still in use, but I am thinking about going back to a manual tuner and putting the AT-11 on the shelf. 73 Mike K5UX -

The LDG QRP tuner Z-11 works great. It has latching relays so it goes off completely in standby. It will only handle 30 Watts. I also have a TT 238. I see they got rid of the string in the TT 238A. H
