- One last comment before we get wildly back on Topic. Does anyone out there using ladder lines, have a good system to bleed off electrostatic buildup on these transmission lines? Right now I'm knife s

- RF chokes to ground are good. In the electric utility industry where Carrier Current (LF RF) is superimposed onto HV transmission lines, (unbalanced to ground) there is an RFC from the line coupling

- Having had to re-look at my lightning protection, did find the I.C.E. surge suppressors are DC blocking and have an inductor from each side of the ladder line to ground. I guess I could measure the i

- A couple of 100 k ohm 2 watt resistors, (carbon) to earth will constantly bleed a balanced line. They will not be affected by your RF power, as the value is so high in ohms. Of course, their voltage
