Dave; I too agree that the Tentec 705 is one of the best sounding mics for ham radio and most operators voices on the market. There's others that offer different performance such as noise cancelling

Dave, I've used a Turner 258 and Heil HC-5 with the Omni VI, Omni A and Triton IV with uniformly excellent reports. The Turner has a mellower, smoother sound and the Heil has the punchy communication
