Hi All, well finally, got a Triton IV in the mobile and am having trouble finding a suitable mic. Would anyone have any ideas for a decent mobile mic that will drive the Triton to a good level? BTW t

I had always used a cheap Astatic crystal mike for mobiling and portable with my Triton IV back in 1978. It may be large, but is light and did quite well for me with simple Hustlers. Clark WA3JPG --

Crystal mics in hot cars in the summertime are a bad combination. Maybe not a problem in "the North" but definitely a no-no in Texas! ;^) I once used a ceramic mic with a mobile HW-101 and that worke
