Would appreciate knowing a source and voltage for the for the small grain of wheat panel pilot light. Also need a source of the GREEN 10's digit LED. I suspect more than one TenTec model used these p

Ten Tec no longer has those, but a good replacement is available at Radio Shack that has leads and fits into that space. It seems either the original or the replacement was 6v, requiring a small wiri

Those LED displays date back to the 1970's, or maybe even a bit earlier. The 54 used HP-5082 series LEDs for all counter sections... these 7 section LED displays were .43" (10.92mm) and common cathod

Found this message thread a bit late. I am in the processes of localizing a display brightness issue with my Triton 544 -- specifically the green 7-segment LED, manufactured by HP, part number 5082-7

one thing to take into account is the fact there is a RED plastic filter in front of the LEDs, thats going to cut the brightness of the green LED by a large degree. Theres probably nothing wrong with

Mike, Great info. Thanks for the heads-up on the lens filter. That's probably the root cause of the brightness attenuation. Referring back to the schematic, the LED segment current is limited by seve

Paul, i dont know if you can get a high brightness GREEN LED or not. If you put a green filter in front of the ten tec display, the RED LEDs wont be as bright as the GREEN LED. The effect will be opp

Mike, Or, maybe cut the existing filter and leave over the red digits, then place a green filter over only the green digit. I guess there's a few possibilities to help with this. Paul, W9AC Paul, i d
