I read the review of the Model 715 speech processor in QST magazine. I thought it was a good piece and sounded accurate and fair, and gave a positive impression. Anyone have reason to think otherwise

Richards, I had two of the earlier models of the 715 and made many DX contacts with an Argosy on twenty meters running 50 watts. It made a difference. Just worked another ham in upstate NY this week

K8JHR, Hi, I have a 715 and is superior to the processor inside my Omni VI-3. Its definitely a keeper in the shack. I'm intending to make up a cable to use it with my TR7 as well. David Wd9cmd ______

I have one for my Orion 1 and its great to have it setup so that I just use my orginal tentec desk mic and at a flip of the switch I have a  Pileup breaking sound. but If everyone else does it would

It works as advertised.... I have been successful barefoot in a number of pileups against others using small amps and similar beams. The advertised 6dB increase in average power seems to be accurate.
