Are you running a serial output from the Orion to the computer? If you disconnect the serial cable and attempt to duplicate the problem is it still there?? If it disappears I'd think it's an RFI prob

It seems that the ten tec rigs aren't the only ones that suffer this problem with LCD displays. Several of the Icom pro versions have display issues. Those displays are not available anymore either.
